I am running a PC with Windows 7 and Adobe Photoshop CS6. They were right behind him now, and he was doing their work. The Marker told him that everyone who was killed on the Ishimura was his friend, and that the rest of the crew would follow him if he completed a task for it. Upon his return to the Main Deck, Isaac discovered that all of his friends were dead, and it was then that he saw the Marker for the first time. The Marker remained with the planet until the end of the first phase of the Elder Gods' planned invasion. However, a mysterious alien force followed them and attacked in the shuttlecraft's hold, killing the entire crew, including Kyne and Dr. The rest of the crew that survived the attack boarded one of the shuttlecraft to leave in a last-ditch attempt to escape. The planet was rapidly changing the atmosphere began to oxidize, and the planet began to encroach upon the Station. The Marker floated free into space and settled into the planet's gravity. However, the ship's extensive hull damage resulted in the Marker being jarred loose from the engine room. The Marker's signal was strong enough to pass through the atmosphere, and Kyne's plan was partially successful. The Marker was formed in the main engine room when a portion of the ship's hull was located on Earth, and the majority of the crew were killed in the explosion.
The Ishimura began to crash into the planet and the ship was destroyed, detonating all of its weaponry. Olivia, still struggling with her assignment, was updating her translator from the Marker, hoping to better understand the Marker's behavior and learn how to take control of it, so that she could save the life of the child. Olivia had been encoded with the language of a dead child named Janus, whom she'd never met. One year later, a group of AI researchers, including Isaac's deceased friend, were trying to create a language-learning AI named Olivia.
